It may seem a little odd to make a museum of things that are not more than 25 years old (2005). Our modern house is about as old as the oldest "stone age computer" in the exhibition. But it is still not out of fashion.

However. The computer from last year is already outdated. In order not to talk about the 450 Mhz PII-computer from 1999 with two hard drives to make up to 28 GB in which this side is made. Yes, it's incredible how very quick computers become obsolete.

It's very important that old computers not just disappear. Do you have an old machine that you want to throw away. Don't do so. Make a cultural contribution and donate it to a museum. But consider that Datasalen is located in Sweden.
Let posterity also see the cultural treasures.
