Schneider CPC-464

The image is clickable

1985.

Amstrad CPC 464 and Schneider CPC 464 was basically the same machine, although with small differences in appearance (colour terms). The german Schneider CPC 464 had metal protection around the electrical wires which made it slightly heavier than the English machine.

It was a very popular machine. Both due to the low price and relatively good performance. When you bought a CPC 464, you bought all the accessories at the same time - the base unit with the built-in cassette and the monitor, either a green monochrome or colour. Beyond this there was also a odd 3" disk drive with which you could load the CP/M. This meant that there was a lot of software to the CPC 464.

Is there any errors? e-mail and correct me!
