1982.

Lambda 8300 has a great deal in common with The Sinclair ZX81. At the outer, they were not so equal, but inside it was almost a cloned copy. But only almost. The programs that you could run in the ZX81, could also be run in Lambda 8300. But the programs written for Lambda 8300 could not be run in the ZX81. I have not tried it myself, but so says the manual. It was even so that the errors that were in the ZX81 also appeared in Lambda 8300.

Is there any errors? e-mail and correct me!
