The two models were basically the same. FP-1100 had, however, better colour capacity and better printing resolution. Casio had been a front runner with the ability to switchbetween various programs/applications. This was done with the blue keys on the keyboard. Some programs, however, the seizure of these keys, and you were stuck in that program until it was shut down.
