1983.

PET 700-series was quite rare already in its time. It was a successor to 500 and 600 series, which by CBM was described as "scientific/professional". 700 series was described as "office/business-machines". Unlike the 500 and 600 series, 700 series had a built-in screen that could both wiggle and twist, just as PET 200. It's almost impossible to divide them from each other with just a glance. However, inside, PET 700 is far more powerful than PET 200 is. In addition to higher performance in most areas, you also could connect a second processor. Either a Zilog Z80 or an Intel 8088. It meant you could run the "industry standard" CP/M or MS-DOS, with a wide range of applications.

Just this machine is a 710 model. There were also 720 and 730 models. Further more, this machine has a Swedish keyboard with our special Swedish å, ä and ö keys, which makes it extremely rare, even more unusual than PET 200 S.
