Commodore 116

The image is clickable

1984.

Commodore 116, which was one of the cheapest machines that CBM ever released, was a remarkable creation. One might wonder how CBM was thinking, when they released a light version of Commodore 16 - which did not sell particularly well - in a shell that resembled Commodore Plus/4 with rubber keys - which neither sold particularly well. Like these two, Commodore 116 were not compatible with the two bestselling predecessors VIC20 or Commodore 64. It was sold almost exclusively in Germany and some countries i east.
