Apple Powerbook 100

The image is clickable

1991.

Apple Powerbook 100 was the third laptop released the same year. The previous two were 170 and 140. Unlike the first, 170, the two later was much simpler. You could call them low-cost computers. Powerbook 100 had for example no disk drive, but you could connect an external one. The processor was older, actually the same as in Mac Portable. Powerbook 100 was not a bestseller.

What we can cite, to the Powerbook series advantage was, among other things, that the keyboard was moved closer to the screen for a convenient support for the wrists.
