Electron

The image is clickable

1983.

Acorn Electron was a "budget version" of the predecessor Acorn BBC. That meant of course some loss of performance including poor sound and, in the first versions, fewer I/O ports. However, as a plus account, it had good resolution for its time. Some other useful properties was interupt management and the opportunity to restore deleted programs. To the left on the keyboard was a little light indicating the actual position of the keyboard.

Acorn Electron was partially compatible with the Acorn BBC, but it says that it suffered from lack of software. There were of course a plethora of games to Acorn Electron as well as to all other computers.

Is there any errors? e-mail and correct me!
