Atom

1979.

You could have this machin as a kit or fully assembled, like several others from that period. With a price difference, of course. ROM was normally at 8 KB and a bit restrictive, but could be expanded by an additional 4 KB for increased resourses, like trigonomical functions, convert degrees/radians and plot colour graphics. Or you could use the extra ROM for either word processing or calculating. However, in comparison with its rivals PET and Tandy RadioShack, Acorn Atom had a rather high graphic resolution in monochrome mode.

Is there any errors? e-mail and correct me!
